Preparing Your Facility for the Post-COVID World and Beyond

COVID-19 came, saw, and temporarily conquered today’s world. It wreaked havoc on operations, disrupted the workforce, and abandoned facilities. While many building owners were successful in responding to the immediate challenges, few have focused on exploring what’s next and by the same token, imagining the beyond. So, what will the ‘new normal’ look like for the built environment? And how should building owners and facility managers prepare for our post-COVID-19 comeback. Lessons learned from the world-altering pandemic can elevate our facilities permanently.

Our panel discussion will focus on HVAC/Air Movement, Domestic Water, and Upper Room GUV and provide insights into the new normal that lies beyond COVID-19, and what considerations AEC consultants should factor into when planning for the long-term challenges and opportunities.

Learning Objectives

  • Learn steps to take now to ensure your building systems are ready to go when occupants return.
  • Get tips on creating or retrofitting existing buildings to accommodate for safer, healthier, and more flexible environments.
  • Gather lessons from case studies of facilities that have undergone changes or new ways of doing business since COVID-19.
