Holistic Building Performance Panel – February 18^th

The following panelists joined  Chicago Chapter of IFMA to give us an update on what is going on in Chicago at the moment in terms of Energy Initiatives, Building Performance trends and chat about pressures and opportunities for facility managers today.

Amy shared the latest on the mandatory energy disclosure ordinance due to the City Energy Project, Darren gave us an update on the newly adopted energy code in Chicago (IECC 2015), Jessica discussed sustainability benchmarking programs such as LEED, WELL and Living Building Challenge, while Ruairi explained how all these changes are affecting the design and operation of buildings. The panel was a huge success – we got some great feedback from our members and suggestions for future Sustainability Committee led events, which we will take into consideration when planning for the future.
